Barred spiral galaxy located about 35.6 Mly away. It is receding from us at approximately 774 km/sec. Three supernovae explosions occurred in this galaxy: SN 1937A, SN 1955A and SN 2003J, which was a type II supernova. Apparent mag 11.3, size 6.7' x 1.2'.
