M 98 is a spiral galaxy discovered by P. Mèchain on 1781; it is a component of the Virgo cluster. Diameter of about 150000 light-years, apparent mag 11 and size 9.8 ' x 2.8'. It's about 60 Mly away. The two galaxies on right are PGC 39002 (up) and NGC 4186 (down).
