| Comment | Also known as Sunflower Galaxy is a spiral galaxy part of M51 group. It was discovered by Pierre Mèchain on june 1779. Lord Ross was the first to see the spiral structure in it. It's uncertain the presence of a super massive black hole in its centre. Apparent ma 9.3, apparent size 10' x 6'. It's about 37 Mly away.
