A&M  Richtey Cretien (now “Officina Stellare”)

This scope is an italian product. What my A&M friends gave me was their first A&M RC (you can see it in the follow pictures) and I have used it to shot most of the pictures in this site. It’s a 10” f8 mirror in alluminium tube. Optics come from Russia (Astrosib) , assembled at A&M. You can visit A&M site clicking here.

Back of my RC. I have choosed a Van Slike Instrument Monster 3 focuser with a Robofocus stepper motor.

The second scope is a William Optics FLT 110 (now sold).  It’s a F 6.5 APO refractor, an oil spaced triplet that gives sharp images.  Robofocus is also present to motorize the 4” focuser.

The little scope in these images is a Takahashi FS 60C. I think it’s a well note scope! Used for wide field images and guiding.

Now my alluminium tube has changed to a carbon  truss tube. I mantained the same optics and gained about

6 kg of weight. A&M has changed to “Officina Stellare”,  a new  Made in Italy production.

10 Micron GM 2000  QCI  Equatorial Mount

10 Micron is italian company specialized in high precision mecanics. The astonomy line is well note for wonderful equatorial mounts: GM 2000 and, the biggest, GM 4000 (coming soon the “little” GM 1000). Electronics is very sofisticated and performed via QCI system.
