About Me
Sono nato a Roma nel 1959 e sono un Cardiochirurgo. Ho scoperto l'astronomia già da bambino. Il mio primo libro fu "Astronomy" di Patrick Moore. Il mio primo telescopio un rifrattore da 60mm di diametro e l'ho utilizzato per vedere la Luna, Giove e Saturno dal balcone della mia casa in Roma. Sposato con Maria, insegnante, ho tre figli (Silvia, Marco e Fabrizio).Vivo e lavoro a Novara (Nord Italia) e mi occupo di astronomia dalla Valle D'Aosta, una regione italiana famosa per le sue montagne (Monte Bianco, Monte Rosa, Cervino, etc…). Altri interessi sono l'astrofisica, gli scacchi, i francobolli, i fumetti, le escursioni in montagna, la pesca subacquea e l'AS Roma
I was born in Rome in 1959 and I’m a Cardiac Surgeon. I discovered astronomy when I was child. My first book was Patrick Moore’s “Astronomy”. My first scope was a 60mm refractor and I used it to see the Moon, Jupiter and Saturn from the balcony of my house in Rome.
Married to Maria, a teacher, have three sons ( Silvia, Marco and Fabrizio).
I live and work in Novara (North Italy) and attempt astronomy from Valle D’Aosta, an italian country famous for the mountains (Monte Bianco, Monte Rosa, Cervino, etc...). Other interests include astrophysics, chess, postage stamps, comics, hiking, spearfishing and AS Roma.
